
R. Jeanne Geidel-Neal,
M.A., MFT
Jeanne
is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated with distinction from
the Masters program in Educational Psychology, Counseling and Guidance, at
California State University at Northridge in 1987. Jeanne has been in practice
in the SC Valley as a registered intern and licensed therapist since 1988.
Through a process of grieving her father’s death in 1987, she became certified
as a Grief Recovery Counselor through the Grief Recovery Institute in Los
Angeles. She has facilitated numerous Grief Recovery Outreach Groups in both the
San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys over the course of the past ten years.
Jeanne has presented local seminars on eating disorders, chemical and
codependency, Grief Recovery, and relationships. With twenty-three years of
experience as an educator and counselor in the secondary school system, she
brings a wide range of knowledge and expertise into her work with adolescents
and family. As director of the MG&A Counseling Agency, and certified
Marriage and Family Therapist supervisor, it is her desire to supervise and
train therapist interns and trainees in bringing their absolute best into the
healing process of families and individuals in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Nikki Miller, M.A., MFT
Nikki is a licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing in the Santa Clarita Valley since
1986. She received an M.A. with honors in Psychology from Pepperdine
University. Nikki has advanced training in work with children and play
therapy, and has supervised MFT interns and trainees for eleven years. Nikki
also wrote a weekly column for the Santa Clarita Valley Signal Newspaper for
thirteen years entitled: "All In The Family." She has presented
a variety of seminars in the local community, has been a vital link between
families and the school system, and has served as an examiner for MFT
license candidates.

Laurel Davis, M.A., MFT Intern
Laurel
was born and raised near Buffalo, New York.
She attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio where she received a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She
is a 1999 graduate of California Lutheran University, where she received her
Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
After living twenty years as a family in the Air Force, she and her
husband and children moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1989. Laurel has been with Miller, Geidel and Associates
since September of 2001, and makes tremendous contributions to the work of
assisting children, individuals, and families increase the quality and
functioning of their life. She has
worked in other family clinics and non-profit counseling agencies as an intern
and is nearly completed the 3,000 counseling hours required to take the state
licensing examination. In addition
to her work with children and families, Laurel volunteers in a variety of
settings in the community and brings a great deal of experience and expertise in
working with developmentally delayed individuals.
She has recently received certification in EMDR, having successfully
completed the Level I and Level II training through the EMDR Institute in
Monterey, California.
